Water water everywhere.

With flood situations worsening in the state, people's lives have become a menace, with water rising in the river beyond the critical point, in the past 24 hours the Assam government has held an emergency meeting with the Assam State Disaster Management Authority ( ASDMA ).

According to the latest information from water resource departments, 2 embankments have been breached, one in Dhemaji and the other in Sivasagar dist.

Many people have been reported missing, when a boat overturned on Tuesday. The water resource department officials said that the water level at Desangmukh in Sivasagar dist. on Tuesday morning was flowing 1.62 m. above the danger level. ( Highest recorded water level in the Brahmaputra in the are since 1988 ). The water level in Dibrugarh and Tinsukia is normal, but rising in Jorhat dist.

Raining Money ?

There is a saying in Assamese : Poisa Pani nisina khoros nokoriba, But the situation changed when piles and piles of Rs 1000 and 500 notes were found flowing in the river Brahmaputra, near Sapgaon, Guwahati. 

                Many people were seen jumping into the river to try their luck, and many were seen satisfied with more then lakhs of rupees flowing in the river, it was a worth seeing situation in Guwahati. The incident occurred on the 25th of this month.

Lights, Camera and Action !

Hi there !

We here at Dibrugarh online are doing our best to make the movie more and more amazing, and with your help can do a little more, spread the word and help the movie to gain more and more interest ! After carrying out a discussion, we have come to the conclusion that the official shooting of the movie would start from 1st week of May and will last till the end of June, with a brief period of 2 months, we plan to complete our movie and present it before you all by the end of June 2012, this year. 

Watch out for the soon to be released trailer on Youtube this April.

Super Power's ! :D

Hi !

We here at Dibrugarh Online are gearing up for the official shoot for our upcomg movie ! And we have decided to give our character some awesome super powers ! Like super speed and super strength.

                         But we still  feel that we require to give some more powers to our Hero / Villain of the film. So we decided that we ask our viewers opinion on what they think our Hero and Villain should have.

The following are some powers we have decided to give our Hero :

Rain Again !

Small drizzles of rain being observed at Dibrugarh. Cloudy are the skies and will last for some time. Movie Story ! :D

Here is a brief description of the movie, we are trying to make :

The story evolves around the lives of 2 boys who find a hidden treasure underneath the bank of the river Brahmaputra. The story starts when the 2 boys after completing their tuition decide to go for a stroll to the bank of the river. Accidentally, one of the boys discovers a chest hidden in the sand. The boys take it out and open it to find 2 crystal balls. To their astonishment they find that the crystal balls hold immense power, to control and do anything and everything. One of the friends after discovering the hidden powers of the balls, take’s advantage and misuses the power for self satisfaction and destruction. The other friend after finding out the selfish deeds of his friend tries to stop him. The situation turns even worse when they turn to rivalry. A war rages on between the friends, which at last ends with the loss of one of the friend.

Moral : Do whats right, whatever it takes.

Do - Tips for preparing for your Exams.

List of thing to do -

1. Always finish your work on time, so that you don't get stressed out in the future.

2. Always revise of what you study, this will help you remember properly..

3. Study the subject with interest, even if you don't like it, try finding out what you like about it, this will create a mood of interest for the subject in you.

4. Always eat a light meal before your exams, so that you don't get cramps, while writing your exam,

5. spend at least 1 hour with full dedication while studying, this is important if you want to come out in flying colours.

6. Leave the answers that you have confusion with / don't know for later and write the ones you know, that way you get more time to finish the subject.

Tribute - Aswin Andy Senji.

On 30th Jan 2012, I / we lost a great brother, friend, Hero. Aswin Andy Senji, 1990 - 2012. ( Pilot, Tracep Congo Aviation's ltd. ). As of daily routine, He scheduled himself to fly from Bukavu to Kigali in South Africa , the plane flew and after flying 45 km. got trapped in a violent thunder cloud and lost all electrical signals. The plane unable to fly came crashing to a city underneath, in a terrifying attempt to save the city, He ( Aswin ) navigated the plane into a forest and told rest of the crew to jump out, considering the life of others more than his, He took the collision head on and sacrificed himself, words said by the survivors of the crash. He reached India on 15.2.12. 

Aswin, we will never forget you, you will always remain in our hearts,

Bye Brother. May you complete your journey to the heavenly abode.
