Ganja Seized at Dibrugarh !

Police recovered around 10 kg of ganja from Hibidur Rehman near Banipur intersection under Gabharupathar police outpost . Rehman, a resident of Naharkotia was carrying the banned narcotics to Dibrugarh in a public transport vehicle. The police picked him up for further interrogation.

Shradhanjali to Dr. Bhupen Hazarika at Thanachariali, Dibrugarh.
The people of Dibrugarh payed their lasts respects to Dr. Bhupen Hazarika at 5.30 pm in the evening at Thanachariali, Dibrugarh. Lot of people lit diyas in front of the Mahatma Gandhi Idol at Thanachariali and on the police point platform. A sing-off was also performed by singing the songs of the Legacy.

A large rally was conducted by the people of Lahoal along all the school and college students of Lahoal, Dibrugarh to pay their last respects to the man with the golden voice Dr. Bhupen Hazarika. The rally started at around 8.30 am in the morning with several students of different schools and colleges of Lahoal gathering in the Lahoal College field, where they paid there respects to the Departed soul.
