Srimanta Sankardeva's 563rd Birth anniversary was celebrated all over the world. People from different villages and cities visited different Namghar's( Prayer Hall ) and offered their prayers to the holy saint.
Sankardeva was a human force who was able to challenge the powerful forces in society and transform their minds into " Eka Bhakti " the message of bhakti and devotion propagated by Sankardeva was based on love of supreme Lord Krishna.
